Counseling builds on your strengths to find solutions to issues and problems that concern you. Usually a few counseling sessions are sufficient to resolve many issues and problems in living that all of us have to deal with.

Psychotherapy goes deeper than counseling. We work to heal your old emotional wounds and to develop new strengths. Psychotherapy takes from several months to two or three years, depending on the issues we need to work with.

Personal Growth focuses on developing your appreciation for your psychological type, and on identifying and cultivating skills and potentials you may not have discovered, or may not have had the time or courage to explore. Several early sessions with periodic follow-up work well for personal growth work.

Jungian Analysis balances your relationship to the outer and to the inner worlds. We explore your dreams as sources of invaluable guidance. We identify and transform old life patterns that are no longer useful. We pay close attention to what makes your life meaningful. The ultimate aim of analytic work is to shift the guiding factor away from the ego to something greater than the ego.

The next page goes into more detail about the way we work in Analytical (Jungian) Psychology.
